aber es steht, ............Ab 1390 ist die Veste kurpfälzische Amtsburg.
Die Veste Otzberg diente ab 1717 nur noch als Invalidenkaserne, in der hessischen Zeit bis 1818 als Gefängnis. 1826 wird sie zum Abbruch freigegeben.
vllt. haben sie da den Bauschutt verschwinden lassen *lach*
